The first high performance finger jointing line Kontizink in Russia

At the end of last year a contract for the delivery of the finger jointing line was signed with the company 'Sokol CLT' from Vologda, Russia which is part of the Segezha Group. As written on their web site Segezha Group is one of the largest Russian vertically integrated timber industry holdings with a full cycle of timber cutting and wood deep processing. The holding includes Russian and European enterprises of forestry, wood-working and pulp and paper industry. The line which will be supplied by Ledinek includes two finger jointing machines: Kontizink with the feed speed of 120 m/min for production of vertical joints and Eurozink with the capacity of 12 cycles per minute for the production of horizontal joints. The finger jointing line is completed by a multi-level storage and a floor storage which provide capacity of 12 chargings of the laminated timber press.

Both, the two finger jointing machines and the two storages are interconnected with an automatic transport system for manipulation of the product. This reduces the personnel requirements to up to three operators and ensures the production capacity up to 25 m³ per hour. The delivery of the equipment is scheduled for February next year, and start up for May, when Sokol will immediately start completing orders with their customers.
