According to the project time schedule, at the end of January, Ledinek Engineering started to deliver equipment to Sokol Timber Company for their finger jointing line which is a part of the complex line for the production of glue lam beams. Sokol Timber Company is a company belonging to Segezha Group, one of the Russian major wood processing groups and today in CW 20, they have launched the production for the market on our FJ Eurozink line.
This achievement we are especially proud of since in the middle of the planned installation and the commissioning of the equipment have been challenged by the coronavirus pandemic. Our assembly team had to leave the site as the countries started to close their borders and it was only due to exemplary cooperation with the customer’s skilled staff that we were able to complete the task in this situation never-experienced before. With customer’s support our experienced programmers and installation advisors managed to build up and start up the machines by means of remote access which resulted in extremely productive communication enabling us to control the work via internet channels.
Following this, both parties will continue in May and June 2020 to work on the commissioning of the Ledinek Kontizink L -S120 finger jointing machine, the start-up of which shall take place by the end of June. Installation and commissioning will be completely done via remote access by the support from Ledinek staff. The customer’s staff will perform mechanical and electrical installation on site.
Ledinek Engineering team and Sokol Timber Company team are proud to share this unique experience and to having successfully completed the tasks during this challenging situation both in the world of business and in our private lives.
Congratulations to both teams!
